Beginning as a series of public dialogues about innovation in New York City, with funding from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, SUNY Levin’s Innovate New York program has evolved in two directions, both aimed at stimulating innovation-based entrepreneurship in New York State; Women Entrepreneurs and Investors, and the Innovation New York Network. The original six programs in the Innovate New York series focused on innovation in finance, media and communications, arts and culture, life sciences, global entrepreneurship, and social services. The second series of six programs focused on the fields of media and communications, with programs on tech pioneers in digital media, gamification, digital advertising, women entrepreneurs in media, and partnerships. Details of these programs are archived, and include video footage and e-briefs of the program outcomes. SUNY Levin’s Innovation New York Network is done in partnership with the SUNY Research Foundation. For more information about these programs, please contact Thomas Moebus. |
