Chinese New Year: Spring Festival Gala with Sichuan University

Featuring classical Chinese songs, music, dances, and Sichuan Opera, with an emphasis on the culture of the Western part of China, this free event will showcase the joyous and harmonious atmosphere in which the Chinese people celebrate their most important festival and will bridge the understanding about China and its culture.
Established in 1999, as one of the earliest university troupes in the Western part of China, the Sichuan University Troupe is highly-regarded for its unique performances depicting life in that part of the country. Its well-received programs have been shown around the world.
