SUNY Levin Institute's various projects provide research that investigates topics related to our mission to provide relevant research on the global economy and globalization.
New York in the World is a research and public engagement project that investigates New York City and State's competitive position in the global economy. The research report offers an in-depth analysis of New York's economic history and provides insight into the strengths, challenges, and opportunities that globalization has created for New York City and State. Tye research is broken down into clusters of the economy and offers a regional analysis of the major metropolitan areas in New York State. The Global Workforce Project investigates and implements core college curriculum that gives students knowledge and skills to work and compete effectively in the global economy. Globalization101.org provides research and video introductions to the concepts of globalization. The Global Talent Index focuses on China's scientific, engineering and management talent pool. This national talent index is a compendium of data and analysis on the supply and demand of high-level professional talent in China. It assesses the quality, specialization, and utilization patterns of high level talent in the fields of science, engineering, and professional services. |
